Pope Leo XIV continues the ordinary governance of the Church at the offices of the Roman Curia. No public audiences or official engagements are scheduled for Monday, but the Pontiff receives several prelates in private audience, including Archbishop Ivan Maffeis of Perugia-Città della Pieve, the apostolic nuncio to Chile Kurian Mathew Vayalunkal, Cardinal Willem Jacobus Eijk, Archbishop of Utrecht, and Poland's ambassador on a farewell visit. The Pontiff remains at the Vatican until the second summer move to Castel Gandolfo, set for Thursday, August 13, ahead of the mid-August (Ferragosto) period.
