On Sunday, August 23, the 21st Sunday in Ordinary Time, Pope Leo XIV leads the recitation of the Angelus from St. Peter's Square, the day after the historic state visit to the Republic of San Marino and the pastoral visit to the Meeting for Friendship Among Peoples and the Diocese of Rimini. After the Marian prayer the Pope greets the faithful and pilgrims gathered in the square, with words that often recall the highlights of the engagements just concluded.
