After the institutional stop at Palazzo Pubblico, Pope Leo XIV reaches the Basilica of San Marino, where he pauses in eucharistic adoration and pays homage to the relics of the founding Saint, meeting the ecclesial community of the Diocese of San Marino-Montefeltro, led by Bishop Domenico Beneventi, who describes it as a "welcoming State committed to paths of peace." In his address the Pope says: "We live in a world wounded by many conflicts, in which violence, closure and fear of the other are worryingly increasing. Faced with these troubling trends, our response can only be to walk with even greater conviction on the path of the Gospel." Addressing the young people present, he urges them: "Do not be afraid to make demanding choices." Before leaving San Marino, he blesses a newborn baby and greets the faithful gathered in the square.
