In a message signed by Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin and sent to participants in the meeting organized by the Pontifical International Marian Academy and the Order of Friars Minor (Perugia-Assisi, 27-29 October), the Pope expressed the hope that in Mary, "woman of faith and obedience to God", we may rediscover "a model of listening and welcome, pillars of all authentic dialogue" and the prerequisite for a shared journey towards peace.
